The following sculptures are all available at various times. Some releases are complex swirly or sparkly Limited Edition colors, and at other times the pieces are available in blank white or multi-color resin.
A luscious wavy mane plays the backdrop to an elegant head in this 6 1/2 inch long Friesian stallion portrait medallion. Uldrik 457 comes in two versions, one with his presentation bridle, and one unbridled. Thanks to Samantha Dawn of Heart of a Cowgirl Photography for the photo reference and to his owner Kylee Sheila Dunn of Pitch Black Stables for graciously allowing me to sculpt him.
CHAPOTEO BUST AND MEDALLION
Chapoteo - meaning splash! - is an Iberian stallion enduring spa day. His eyes are squinted against the stream of hose water, but he is also tempted to have some fun and has stuck his tongue out to play. Chapoteo comes in bust (5 1/2 inches tall) and medallion (4 inches long) form. His water splash is pressure cast in crystal clear UV resistant resin to eliminate air bubbles and prevent yellowing, and finished with a UV resistant gloss coating to further protect and enhance the ultra wet water look. The splash can be temporarily attached with museum wax, or permanently glued after finishing. Thanks to Heather Moreton for the photo reference!
DAHLIA AND ROSIE
Dahlia (facing left) and her mini me Rosie (facing right) is a portrait of a sweet draft mare living the quiet life of retirement. These drafts are generic enough to be painted a variety of colors, which is easy to do with tiny Rosie at 3 inches long. Dahlia is a hefty lady, cast thick and measuring 6 inches long.
A girl and her pony - Valentine represents true partnership and lasting friendship. This pair is perfectly turned out for a hunter show, waiting at the gate and having a nice moment before their round. Valentine is a large medallion, very thick and weighty, measuring 5 1/2 inches across, perfect for replicating all those tiny, important details on custom portraits.
This 5 inch diameter medallion features a Highland Pony mare delicately plucking a flower from a thistle, the prickly plant many horses and ponies develop a taste for. She is bordered with iconic heather flowers, commonly found on the highlands of Scotland where these hardy little ponies and plants thrive. Highland Ponies come in many solid colors, but you don't have to let her breed stop you from painting a flashy pinto or appy, as she will look just as cute as a mixed breed.
Cookie Monster is never available for purchase, but often shows up as a giveaway. This snacky pony is quick to beg and quicker to steal your treats, and your heart!
