Resin by Jennifer Scott

"Pfeffernüsse" is Jennifer Scott's beautiful Anise resin, in the loose mane version. She has been painted in oils to rich dark dappled chestnut with striking shading around her face and legs. One of my favorite things about this sculpture is her tail, which I emphasized with that really neat silver-grey that chestnuts tend to get, with touches of chestnut throughout. She has a few markings that give her just a bit of additional flash. Pfeffernüsse is finished off with detailed eyes, hooves, textured chestnuts, and she comes with two bases. Her display base is minimalistically painted in dark greys and browns, with a gold name plate, and her slim performance base is solid black.
